My America: Fiscal Responsibility
In My America, I would completely do away with the things that waste taxpayer monies and help perpetuate fraud on the American people. Things like the National Endowment for the Arts which supports things like authors who write nothing but pornography and your taxpayer dollar pays for it. Plays that are nothing more than people rolling around on stage spouting hatred for the country that allows things like this while all the while squishing poo with their bodies (yes, that’s art!). The farce of “art” being considered a crucifix in urine that your taxpayer dollars paid for: all of this would be done away with because in My America, I would totally abolish the National Endowment for the Arts as being un-Constitutional (where does it say in the Constitution that “Congress shall provide “art” and “beauty” for the people”?) I would actually sue them to get whatever monies I could back for the funding of necessary things like the military to protect these idiots and “avant-gourds” (yes, I did mean “gourds”: they have as much grey matter as gourds).
In My America, I would de-fund the United Nations. If you want to read a book that makes you angry, read one of the many books I am currently reading: “The U.N. Exposed” by Eric Shawn. Read that and other things you read, even on the U.N.’s own website (like the forty-seven resolutions against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq that told Saddam to cooperate with America and the U.N., but held no teeth), and you will see that America giving money – even a dime – to the United Nations is a waste of money: complete, absolute, unholy, self-destructive waste of money. We may as well directly give money to those who hate us as to the U.N. The U.N., IMHO, is a totally useless organization that can’t do anything except spend our money. Why continue to support it? It is not our child! You will read more about the U.N. in my “Foreign Relations” section.
In My America, there would be no government funding for abortion. Abortion is wrong and you all know it. Don’t lie to me and say otherwise, plead “the life of the mother”, etc.: it will do you no good, it’s a lie and you can list no reason to kill an innocent baby. Notice I didn’t say “fetus”. Test a baby-en-utero’s DNA and you will find human DNA, not pig DNA, not tree DNA, not plastic DNA, not horse manure DNA, not “fetus” DNA: HUMAN: fully human, exclusively human and totally human. If that does not make a baby a human, then you and I are not human. If a single-celled thing from outer space found on an asteroid that crashed in Alaska can be considered alive, then a baby – which starts with no less than two (count ‘em: two, twice as many as that “life” we found on the asteroid) cells, a sperm and an ovum, then a baby is a two-celled human being and should be given the rights granted us in the Preamble to the US Constitution as well as in the full document itself.
In My America, the National Education Association would be de-funded due to failure to perform. Our kids are not being taught to read when they leave high school; or if they can actually read, they aren’t taught to think. I taught my neighbor’s son how to read in less than twenty hours of tutoring when he was going into the fourth grade. How was he promoted out of first, second and third grade without being able to read even to a kindergarten level? This boy couldn’t even sound out how to spell cat, dog, or wing, much less recognize them on paper. When I finished with him, he was reading to grade level and could sound out words. How well can the schools be doing with their educational efforts if this be the case? Oh, and by the way, he was on ADD/ADHD meds, too. But that was after he passed first and second grade, and couldn’t read. “Oh, but that’s why he couldn’t read. He was ADD/ADHD so his teacher couldn’t teach him?" Oh? I got him off of that crud and taught him how to focus and he still learned how to read. If I can do it as a stay-at-home home-schooling Mom, so can a multi-billion dollar big business called “The National Education Association” with all its teachers, administrators and supporters.
In My America, I would see a voter initiative petition drive that resulted in a Constitutional Amendment – unstoppable by Congress – that required Congress to send up a truly balanced budget each and every year. In times of war, we would not need to cut things from the budget. With things like the two NEAs and abortion funding cut (as well as many other programs we now support for who-knows-what reason) we would have money to “establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defence [sic], and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity”, even with lower taxes brought about by all this de-funding, and still have plenty to protect ourselves. We would just have to keep a careful eye on our Congress.
That brings me to the final paragraph of this posting. In My America, the people of the United States of America would be aware of what their elected officials are doing with the hard-earned money taxed from the people and the people would hold their elected officials’ feet to the fire for every dime wasted (hundred dollar toilet seats, etc.) and every penny squandered (frivolous trips to foreign countries, eating out at expensive restaurants at our expense, abusing their positions to get out of traffic tickets: they must pay their “fair share” too). The people would write to their legislators, governors and elected dog catchers and demand a refund en masse. Every elected position in the land would be held accountable for, to and by the electorate and every elected position would know that they are being carefully watched. If this would prevent some “good people” from running, maybe they weren’t so good in the first place.
Look for the next posting coming soon.
Until then, keep trying, keep our brave Troops in your prayers, and remember that God loves you even if He doesn’t love your actions. As He does moi.
