My America
This is the start of a series (don’t know how many pieces in the series as yet) about the America I think would be my “ideal” America. A partial list of the “My America” series includes the following topics:
Foreign Relations
Social Issues
Religion
The War on Terror
The Public School System
Fiscal Responsibility
Politics
In “My America” I am exercising my First Amendment rights and following a great tradition within America: to say what you think right, good and wholesome, no matter who disagrees with you. I could write what I think wrong, bad and disgusting, but we already have Leftist Liberals and Hollywood taking care of that as entertainment and their “free speech” so why be redundant?
If you are a member of the Liberal Left, please take a moment to read the whole posting before you even begin to respond. Also remember that I get to respond to you. And try not to make it too easy on me. I love what most of the Idiot Left out there thinks of as “Aha!” It’s my vitamin pill. If you really want to be tough, try something no one else on the left has thought of: the truth. That will really surprise me, but it won’t prevent me from responding.
If you are responding and you are not a member of the Catch-Phrase-Fascists (“gravitas”, etc.), you are welcome. I will respond if I so desire.
Either way – or even a Libertarian who thinks he/she is original and will grind me to bits – please remember that bad words are not acceptable. However, nor are they such words as “Conservative”, “Republican”, or “Christian”. Bad words are the words that censors used to remove from movie scripts, then got bleeped out for family viewing but now your four-year-old comes home from Pre-K knowing exactly what they mean, how to spell them and how to use them all in one sentence that would have gotten you sent to a convent (and/or hades: whichever comes first).
Look for the first posting coming soon.
Until then, keep trying, keep our brave Troops in your prayers, and remember that God loves you even if He doesn’t love your actions. As He does moi.
